Gravity Defyer Shoes are comfort shoes that relieve pain. They use the Versoshock Trampoline Technology System which is like a shock absorber system in the heel of the shoes. The shoe absorbs shock when you walk and help to propel you forward which allows people to enjoy walking again.
The shoes are aimed to help those with foot problems including achilles tendonitis, bunions, foot and ankle pain, hammertoes, heel spurs, flat feet and plantar fascilitis as well as leg pain and back pain associated with walking.
Gravity Defyer Shoes compete with hundreds of shoe brands that have comfort shoes, but there only seem to be two others that are based on a spring technology and these are Z-Coil pain relief footwear and Spira. Spira shoes contain WaveSpring® technology and their shoes have been banned for use in competitions by USATF which is the governing body for Track and Field in the United States. They use this as a selling point saying that if their shoes weren’t better than the rest they would not be banned.
Z-Coil offers a similar 30 day guarantee to Gravity Defyer Shoes but their shoes are very odd to look at as the spring/coil component is exposed. Although Gravity Defyer Shoes can look quite fashionable the Z-Coil shoes look clunky and possibly prone to catch on things. The Spira range is all athletic in appearance while the Gravity Defyer Shoes come in many different styles which makes them more versatile and my top pick of the three.
Gravity Defyer Shoes were invented by Alexander Elnekaveh who has designed hundreds of inventions and gadgets. The company is based in California and has a range of comfort footwear for both men and women using their patented technology. In the United States they are available from selected stores through the Gravity Defyer website, and through SkyMalll and Direct Mail Marketing. They have distributors in Korea and Germany and are expanding internationally.
The shoes are for people who may suffer from pain and want to ease pain and alleviate joint stress and pressure on the spine so they can have a more active lifestyle. The heel contains a master spring which helps propel you forward and twin stabilisers. They also have a heel with a shock absorbing membrane.
The shoes are comfortable to wear and come in a range of styles including sandals and some that look like joggers. There are separate ranges for men and women and they are designed to be worn on a daily basis.
Gravity Defyer Shoesbelieve in customer satisfaction and offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied with your purchase and return it within 30 days. They do advertise but don’t rely on celebrity endorsements, believing the shoes are good enough to sell without the need for that.
On ShamelessReviews, a reviewer who borrowed a friends shoes said “And the comfort. Sublime bliss. Better feeling than memory foam. It’s literally walking on air. I almost murdered my friend to keep his shoe.”
Hi There,
I bought Ballistic (Silver/Navy) for $130.00 and it was terribel.
It isn't also comfortable as regular shoe like new balance.
I tried to return it based on their offer for 30 days free trial, but I was told I couldn't do that because I tried it in real situation in my job at retaail.
I want to know who try a shoe for 30 days indoor rather than real suitaion ?
My suggestion is that try other good shoes in market from other companies which is more cheaper and comfortable .
Thanks
My father swears by these shoes!!! He was born with clubfeet and hammertoes and after wearing Gravity Defyers after one day, he was miraculously healed!!!! But that’s nothing compared to my cousin – she was born with her right foot missing and after wearing Gravity Defyers for only 3 days, she grew a new foot!!! Wow!!! Also I ordered 2 pairs for my mother about 6 months ago, we havn’t received them yet but she claims her feet feel better anyways!!! Way to go Gravity Defyers!!! Forgot to mention – my sister, age 67, who has been barren without children, wore her Gravity Defyers for a month and became pregnant!!! I guess that logo had everything to do with it!!! Thanks Gravity Defyer!!! (now, if I could just keep them away from my grand daughters…
I purchased my pair of Gravity Defyer on December 9, 2010. After six months of normal wear there appeared a clicking in my left heel with each step I take. This is very annoying. With only a 30 day refund or exchange policy, I would NOT recommend these shoes to anyone.
Impressive review! I have never used such shoes but I think I should give it a try. I just love those shoes that are so smooth that makes you feel like heaven.
These are the worst shoes I've ever bought. They killed my feet after wearing them to work all day. Noway worth the money they charge you. Check other websites for reviews, 90% are bad.
Good review. Informative for the consumer and inspiring for your fellow writers.
